3D MICROBLADING & EYEBROW EMBROIDERY

3D Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo procedure for the eyebrows.  It is a new technique compared to the traditional-one dimensional permanent eyebrow tattoo technique. It is done using a manual tool, a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. Since we are applying on the top layer of the skin, the strokes appear crisp and very fine. Compared to the traditional permanent eyebrow tattoo, 3d Microblading results into natural looking hair-like strokes blended with your natural eyebrow hairs.

Each 3D Microblading procedure takes approximately 2 hours per client.

The first half of the session is grooming, numbing using a topical numbing cream, shaping/mapping, and color consult. The other half is microblading and finishing procedures.

After the initial process, a touch-up may be required to fill in gaps, add more color or more strokes to build the best brow possible.  Touch-ups maybe scheduled after 8 weeks of initial process to ensure healing.

Since 3D Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo, it lasts from 1 year to 3 years depending on each individual's life style, how each person's skin heals, and maintains their aftercare.  Getting this procedure done saves you time everyday from having to put makeup on your brows, as well as money from buying brow products throughout the years!

FAQ's

Does it Hurt?

  • Microblading is designed to lightly scratch the surface of the skin. This should not be painful. In addition, we use topical anesthetics to ease any discomfort for our clients. Most people rate the pain level between a 1-3 on a scale of 1-10 ( 10 being extremely painful).  We typically use numbing cream to help ease any discomfort but the truth is… beauty is pain (but SO worth every second)

How long does microblading last?

  • Microblading is a semi-permanent method of tattooing that ideally lasts up to 2 years in the skin depending on the skin type. This technique requires an eight week touch up after the initial session to complete the brows. Additionally, clients must return annually for a color boosting session to touch up any color that may have faded.  You should plan to come back in for a touch-up appointment about 8 weeks after your first session.

About how long is one session?

  • You should expect to spend about 2.5 hours at your first appointment. What will take the most time is mapping your brows, the actual application of the pigment itself is relatively quick. Touch ups and preliminary consultation appointments also require less time than the first-visit.

What is the cost of microblading?

  • The cost of your service will depend on the results you are looking for and the experience level of your artist. In general however, you should expect to spend between $500 and $800 on your new brows.  Your brows are an INVESTMENT, and you have to keep in mind that you are getting a tattoo on your face!

How much down time will be required after my procedure?

  • There is a 10 day healing period. During that time you will need to avoid water saturation of the brows and sweating (so no working out).

What do I do if I have tattooed my brows in the past?

  • Previous tattoos don’t always exclude you from microblading, but the procedure becomes a little more complicated. A consultation with your technician is required before booking an appointment.

What can I expect during my appointment?

  • The appointment process to create your beautiful, new, 3D brows will take about two and a half hours from start to finish. The session will include a thorough consultation, brow mapping/sculpting, skin numbing, choosing your pigment and then microblading. Future appointments require less time because they are designed to reinforce the work done in the initial session.

What can I expect after my appointment?

  • As artists, we can only do our best to create your new Microbladed brows, results and healing will vary per person due to skin type/ lifestyle/ medications taken.  However, it is your responsibility to keep up and follow Aftercare procedures very carefully, it is crucial to your results. The procedure is only 50 percent of the outcome and the other 50 percent are from your body's healing response. Everybody’s body heals differently. It will rely on how your body heals itself.

  •  Although permanent makeup last long and do not rub off, they are subject to fade over time. They do NOT last forever. How long your tattoo depends on:
1️⃣PIGMENT PROPERTIES [How dark/ concentrated the pigment is]
2️⃣HOW DEEP WE GET THE NEEDLE INTO THE SKIN
    3️⃣SKIN TYPE [Oily/ Dry/ Thick/ Thin]
4️⃣LIFESTYLE [Sun exposure, tanning beds, UV Light, skin regimen, etc]
    5️⃣MEDICATION YOU ARE TAKING
    6️⃣AFTERCARE
7️⃣HOW MUCH OF A BLEEDER YOU ARE [Blood dilutes the ink]
    ___
There are many factors that contribute to the fading of the tattoo. Everyone heals differently. We do NOT have control on how you heal or how long your tattoo lasts. If you decide on getting your brows tattooed, accept that you will need to keep up with touch ups to refresh the tattoo. AVERAGE clients come back in every 18 months to 2 years. Unless you want them to last long like the "old school" blue/ green permanent brow tattoos that last over 10 years. NATURAL BROWS= SEMI-PERMANENT.
